In July 2010, Hazlet adopted the GovOnline system to support online permitting and licensing. The GovOnline system has improved Hazlet’s construction permitting processes with 88% productivities improvement, and provides contractors and residents an easy/convenient way to obtain a permit and comply with the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) mandated by the regulations.
In January, 2012, Hoboken Parking Utility (HPU) launched the HPUOnline system to automate parking permit management. The HPUOnline system utilizes the GovOnline to automate parking related activities.
In February, 2012, the Borough adopts the GovOnline for online permitting. Initial online services include bathing pavilion and zoning applications.
Environmental Response Resource Registry (ER3) for the Great Lakes
The Great Lakes Commission (GLC), the Michigan DEQ, and the Wisconsin DNR have retained enfoTech to develop an IT solution to share region-wide oil and chemical spill response resources. The project is funded by the USEPA and will leverage the Exchange Network Browser (ENB), to offer the available equipment and personnel resources to assist in responding to spills in the Great Lakes region.
The Council adopts the GovOnline system to streamline the entire grant application life cycle for both the Council and grant applicants. It offers the public a convenient, user-friendly access point to Council services and for applicants to track their application review status. Council staff are spared the tedious tasks of messy paperwork, confusing requirements, and erroneous data entry – and granted more valuable time to focus on the development of high-quality humanities programs for the community.
